Version 4 Update Instructions

Please print and read the update instructions.

The Version 4.00.401 update is quite straight forward, but does require a special step to create the 100 pre-assign data base for each room.

download the files from CAPA's FTP site into your INN\TOOLS

when files have been downloaded, log off

go to DOS Command by clicking on MS DOS Prompt if you have it on
your desktop
or
click on start, run, then type in 'command' and

when you are in the dos window, go to drive hosting \INN

eg: X:

to go into INN directory, type CD \INN

you should end up in X:\INN where X is your drive letter

now, you are ready to update, remove read only attributes by typing

attrib -r *.*

now, bring in new files

pkunzip -n -s(password) TOOLS\INN?.zip
pkunzip -n -s(password) TOOLS\MULTIED.ZIP

now install read only again, using attrib +r *.exe

type RESET

now type EXIT

you are back at your desktop, click on your ICON for InnKeeper and the system will do a complete reset and build the pre-assign data base

when back up, system is now on new version use SHIFT F10 to view that you are on 4.00.401C
